 Warlock Stuff and Junk
With Criime gone and Phlith on an extended break...it feels weird. Well...what mods do you use Shyton...I think I'm using too many and it's slowing my framerate and DPS down because of it. I might grab a new video card to help myself out cuz I'm only getting like 15 FPS on boss fights. Which is also why I think I have a hard time clicking portals on Kalecgos (Sometimes it takes me 5-10 clicks to get in and even then I lag a little bit when the port actually goes through. I honestly think thats the reason, besides my still "meh" gear that I'm not doing the DPS I think I should be or Tyrotio expects outta me...Cuz it's not hard to stand in one spot and mash one button for a whole fight. How's that Tempest treating ya?

My computer isnt the greatest either but its plenty to maintain 40+fps in most places in wow. I normally stick to quartz < calculates your ping into your casts , so you can precast and do a little bit more dps , and i also use recount to keep myself competitive with most people. P.S. Its Hawt <<<

And normally my rotation is shadowbolt , assigned curse , shadowbolt x (X) amount until 10% mana < then tap and shadowbolt your self back up. Dont tap like 6 times in a row.

 Re: Warlock Stuff and Junk
Zene, if you're getting 15 fps, then that will affect your dps significantly. A lot of times it may not be your computer, but because Blizzard couldn't write a code good enough for shit. Sometimes a new graphics card can help, but work with shyton on mods and try and cut down on those. Also go to your run/browse bar in your start menu and type "Msconfig" go over to the startup tab and deselect any programs that say they are user based and you know you don't use. Don't touch the ones that say "system" or "microsoft" unless you really know what you're doing. Deselecting the wrong boxes could cause your system not to boot up, so if you're not comfortable then seek help from a guild member in vent and have them walk you through it.
Also, a more simple way is to hit "ctrl, alt, delete" and go into processes, and once again end task on processes that you never use and may run into the background. I know a lot of these stuff may seem juvenile for experienced computer users, but just thought I'd throw out a few suggestions. Also turn down all graphics except for spell detail, which is only needed on specific fights, and turn down view distance. Make sure your graphic card settings are also set to game priority.

 Re: Warlock Stuff and Junk
I've got alot of my graphics turned low, just turned the rest of the besides spell detail all the way down...I've had alot of trouble with my ISP since I've gotten it. It's a city owned subsidiary of Comcast so it's the only cable internet I can get. and since I don't have a home phone DSL would cost my alot I believe. I have a low upload roof which I think adds to my poor FPS and that I don't think there's anything I can do about it. Honestly I do the same thing Shyton does Shadowbolt>curse>Shadowbolt the Lifetap as needed but it seems like I always so far behind. Some of it's gear, but when Phlith was around he did a report on me and said I wasnt casting enough Shadowbolt's (which I click the button every .5 seconds when raiding). My FPS has to be the problem, cuz I know I'm not stupid and that I'm a good player. Imma check out some of the addons Shyton suggested see if they'll help.
What are ALL the addons you use and their purpose please. I have different ones for everything atm I think.
Bartender - Manage my addons FuBar - Button management Atlas - Maps Atlasloot Enhanced - Loot Omen - Threat Management Bigwigs - boss mods Item Rack - changing outfits Dotimer - timing dots Necrosis - Warlock buttons
I actually use auctioneer and ackis recipe list as well as some other junk i really dont need. I'll try Quartz to see how it is b4 the raid tonight.

 Re: Warlock Stuff and Junk
Shyton's Addons. ----------------- Omen-To manage threat Quartz-To increase dps based on latency based in game lag. (precasting) AtlasLoot Enhanced-To pick out items to make a max dps combo. BigWigs-Bossmod telling me when events are about to happen. (Boss timers) ItemRack-To quickly switch items to certain sets. (SR,PVP,DPS) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- My opinion on the matter is i get 40 fps raiding so i could handle more addons but there not needed. If your only getting 15 fps then cut back on what you use or just disable them for raiding , but definitly pick up quartz. showed to increase by dps by an average of 75-100 because of precasting.
